Recipe type: Dessert
Serves: 10-15
Ingredients
Chocolate chips or broken pieces of chocolate bar: 3 cups
Cocoa powder: 2 tbsp (optional)
Sweetened condensed milk: 1 can
Butter: 4 tbsp
Vanilla extract: ¼th tsp
Salt: a small pinch
Powdered sugar (optional)
Method
Melt chocolate and butter, along with the condensed milk, in the microwave for a minute. The time may vary depending on how cold your chocolate and butter is. You can also use a double boiler.
Add the cocoa powder, vanilla extract and salt into the melted chocolate and mix everything very well while it is still warm till you have a smooth silky consistency.
Line a dish with parchment paper or foil and spray with any cooking spray so that it is easier to lift the chocolate pieces later.
Pour the melted chocolate mixture into it and level it with a spatula. Put it in the fridge to set for at least two hours.
Cut into squares and remove from pan. You can sprinkle them with powdered sugar as an optional step.
Store them in the freezer.
