Tilor Laru or Sesame Seeds Sweets

Serves: 24 balls
- 1.5 cup sesame seeds
- 1 cup gur or jaggery
- 2 tbsp water
- Melt jaggery with a little water in a saucepan on low heat, stirring occasionally.
- Meanwhile, lightly roast sesame seeds till they start to splutter and release an aroma. Cool them for a few minutes and grind into a coarse powder.
- Mix melted jaggery with the ground sesame on a plate and make small, tight balls. Dip your fingers into some water to help make the balls.
- Eat immediately or let it harden for a few minutes.
